Job Summary:
The HR Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for our Residential Treatment Center. This includes sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, as well as collaborating with department leaders to understand their staffing needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department managers to develop job descriptions and recruitment strategies that align with the staffing needs of the Residential Treatment Center.
- Utilize multiple sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, career fairs, and networking, to identify potential candidates.
- Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screens, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Assess candidates through interviews and skill evaluations, ensuring that they meet the qualifications and align with our organizational culture.
- Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, providing timely feedback and guidance.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs, particularly for key roles within the center.
- Coordinate and participate in job fairs and other recruitment events to promote Hallmark Youthcare as an employer of choice.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, as well as internal policies related to hiring and employment practices.
- Collaborate with the HR team to support onboarding processes and new hire orientation.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the hiring process.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably within healthcare or social services sectors.
- Knowledge of best practices in recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with candidates and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the recruitment process.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience working in a Residential Treatment Center or similar healthcare facility.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Preferred).
