Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter/Wall Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wall preparation, painting, and finishing techniques, ensuring high-quality results in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a clean workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and cleaning walls and ceilings.
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Perform drywall repairs and installations, including taping, mudding, and sanding for a smooth finish.
- Install wallpaper and other decorative wall treatments as needed.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired aesthetic, ensuring proper application techniques are used.
- Maintain an organized work area and clean equipment after use.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with clients and other team members to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of completed work and address any necessary touch-ups or adjustments.
- Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance skills and service quality.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter or wall technician, preferably in both commercial and residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and safety practices.
- Experience with drywall installation and repair preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity and precision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Certification in safety practices or relevant trade education is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions as required for outdoor projects.
